Statutory Requirement:
Per R.S. 38:2225.7(D) and R.S. 33:1440.32., starting July 1, 2026, this portal allows all elected officials of municipalities and certain municipal employees to complete the required one hour of annual training on procurement and the letting of public contracts. This portal is designed to allow you to register and complete the training online.

Some items to note:
* The registration page allows you to register up to 15 people for each course.
* Each registration is a one-time event - You may pause the training, but if you exit the training before it completes, you will need to re-register and re-start the video.
* During the training, you will see four prompts (example, below) to confirm your attention and attendance. In order to receive credit for completing the training, you must CLICK in the light box for each of the four prompts. IF YOU MISS A PROMPT, the training session will end and you will need to re-register and re-start the video.
* Accessing this training requires a web browser that fully supports the HTML5 standard. Examples of this include current versions of Firefox, Safari, Chrome, and Edge.
* At the end of the training, you will receive certification that the registered people have taken the training. Please save the generated PDF for your records. |
