Hospital Service District purchasing from a qualified group purchasing organization (FAQ Government)

Answer

Yes, pursuant to R.S. 38:2212.1(G) and (H), any hospital owned or operated by a hospital service district, a municipality, the state, or any other public entity may enter into an agreement with one or more “qualified group purchasing organizations” for the purpose of obtaining bids for the purchase of materials and supplies.
