There are several exemptions within the Public Records Law regarding personal identifiable information. (PII). A record containing such PII should be reviewed and all PII redacted before the record is produced for public inspection pursuant to a public records request.
R.S. 44:3 and R.S. 44:11 contain the types of information that is usually redacted.
