Yes, documents such as timesheets, containing information about hours worked and salaries of public employees, is a public record. However, some information in those documents, such as social security numbers, may be exempt from disclosure. The Fire District should redact that type of information from the documents prior to disclosing them. Additionally, security issues may prevent production for records. The Fire District should consult with its attorney regarding any such exemptions.
