A.1. A requestor for public records may wish to contact the local district attorney for the parish in which the public entity is located or the Attorney General. The requestor may also wish to consult private legal counsel in order to pursue legal action as authorized under R.S. 44:35.
A.2. Individuals who wish to provide information of suspected misappropriation or abuse of public funds should contact the LLA’s Fraud Waste and Abuse Hotline. Information on the various methods for submitting information (email, fax, voicemail, etc.) can be found on the LLA’s website at http://www.lla.la.gov/hotline/
