Answer

Pursuant to R.S. 44:4(6) the City's internal auditor's work papers become subject to the Public Records Law once the audit is complete. This is different from the work papers of the Louisiana Legislative Auditor, which do not become subject to the Public Records Law even after the audit is complete.
