The Mayor’s Court docket and case information are public records and must be produced upon request. However, there may be information within those records that are confidential (such as Social Security Numbers, bank information, etc.) that should be segregated and redacted prior to production for public review. The Village’s custodian should consult with the Village’s legal counsel to respond to the request and provide the information after redacting any information that is required to be maintained as confidential.
