R.S. 15:571.11(A) discusses the disposition of fines and forfeitures to the DA- who must make a motion of his expenses (itemized) to the district court and the judge will approve. All reasonable expenses are approved. See R.S. 13:1898 re city court also. Also, AG Op. No. 01-0037, AG Op. No. 92-0149 and AG Op. No. 00-0148 as to what goes into the fund.
